Scotland the Feart publishes opinion writing that starts from evidence. That comes with two responsibilities: correcting mistakes when they happen, and giving anyone the site has named a real chance to answer back.

Corrections

If a piece gets a fact wrong, tell us and we’ll fix it. Genuine errors are corrected as soon as they’re confirmed, and where the correction is significant we’ll say so on the piece itself rather than editing it away quietly.

Complaints

If you think a piece has treated you or someone else unfairly, the same address handles complaints: jason@scotlandthefeart.scot. Include the article link and what specifically you’re objecting to.

Right of reply

If this site has named you and you want to respond, use the form below. Submissions are reviewed — not automatically published — for the same reason every article on this site goes through a legal check before it runs: your reply is published under this site’s masthead too. Genuine, on-topic responses are published in full, alongside the original piece, generally within a few days.

This isn’t a general comment space — it’s specifically for people the site has named who want to put their own account on the record.
